Swimathon 2004
On Saturday 20th March 2004, a team of crack swimmers from Hagley
Rotaract took part in the Swimathon marathon swim. The team
comprised Sue 'the fish' Munday, Melanie 'torpedo' Quinlivan, Stephen
'the shark' West (a mercenary from Halesowen Rotaract) and their
veteran captain Stephen 'the dolphin' Murphy. The group swam the
full five kilometre distance between them. It is estimated that around
£300 will have been raised for charity. |
